My site feeder reader thingy.....yeah, it's not working. Saying no one has posted anything new, but when I go to their blog anyways...what do you know, they have something new up.
Very frustrating.
I made some more cupcakes. Chocolate cake with just a plain vanilla frosting, nothing fancy, but oh so yummy. And I have eaten way to much, they're going to my thighs, I just know it. Oh well, at least it was sweet:o)

Please, please, please let us get all of our shopping done tomorrow. I know, I'm sooo behind, but like I said that's because I'm way too cool to have it done early(rolls eyes at myself).

When the heck was the last time I posted pictures of my ever so cute kids? Huh?

Feeling frumpy....

It's dumb I know, but really, I'm feeling it way more then I should.
Even more now because my brother in law is bringing his girlfriend to meet the family.....and she's younger then me.....and cuter.....and waaaaay thinner then me.
So I feel super frumpy.
Blah.
I guess it does not help that I don't bother with makeup that much anymore, not like I used to. And I also love staying in my pj's way longer then I should. And, I always put my hair up in a ponytail.
Double blah.
And I still have not lost all my baby weight. I'm pretty sure...no..wait...I know I've gained more. But Monica, I thought that when you became a vegetarian you lost some weight? Oh, yeah, I did. But I love me some sweets waaaay to much, can you say cupcakes?
Triple blah.
So guess what's going to be my New Years resolution...again? Yup losing weight, and not being so dang frumpy.

As you can see, I have been slacking in my blog posting.....but for good reason I promise you.
Actually, a very yummy reason.

I am going to open my own cupcakery!!

I have been busy working on my business plan, pricing things that I need(i.e. ovens, cupcake boxes, decorating items, pans, trays, and other neat stuff), researching areas(I already know what town I want it to be in), and looking in to grants, loans, permits and such. Lot of work I tell ya, but oh so worth it. I mean who wouldn't want to share the yummyness of a cupcake?

My cupcakery already has a name, I Heart Cupcakes, but I'm working on the logo as well.
Also, I got two, yes two domain names for Christmas...HERE and HERE

So yeah, I'm pretty excited, and my mother in law is kind of guiding me through this too(she owns her own restaurant)so that helps.

So tell me, what's your favorite kind of cupcake?

That Christmas is like around the corner?! And then it will be a new year??!
Wow crazy is that?
Something even more crazy.........we have not even started our Christmas shopping....

Sad.

Oh. Oh. Even more crazyness, my little brother, ok, my little brother that's almost two feet taller then me:o) is going to be 16 next week! 16 people!! I can't believe it. I bet my mom cannot believe it either.

And where the heck did this year go, huh? Geez.

In other news, I just found out today that my daughters training potty has lead paint.....nice right?
Oye, one more thing added to the recall list....

And we all feel better here now. Sooo hated the bug we all got, really hated it when both kids had it at the same time, and with me of course. And my poor husband got it when he was at work:o( Was not fun for him.

I'm going to take advantage of both kids being in bed already and get some much needed sleep.

So lately we have been getting allot of Toll Free numbers calling our house. And we don't answer them, but it's really becoming annoying to have the phone ring all the time, even after 8:00pm, and even on Sundays!
Sooo, I have decided let let Missy work on her telephone skills:o) (insert evil laugh here)
I know they are just doing their jobs, and it is that time of year for people to be calling...wanting money fro some organisation or other....but come on! Three times in a row is a bit much.
So when it shows up on the caller id, I call for Missy, she comes a runnin' and is oh-so-happy to start up a conversation with who ever is on the other line.
And really, I don't do it all the time, maybe, just maybe twice a day.

I know, I'm evil.

ETA: so, ever wonder who that toll free number belongs to? Write it down and hop in the net and go to www.whocalled.us , it's great, and it also gives feed back from other people:o)

Oh photoshop, how I love thee...

So really not photo shop, but really "GIMP". I freaking love this program, even though it took me over a year to kinda figure it out....and I'm still learning. But I *love* what I can do with pictures, and yes I'll even show you what the heck I'm talking about:o) Oh lucky you!

First we have a picture of myself, ya know, doing the myspace pose:o)(gotta love myspace photoshoots in the bathroom!LOL) Nothing done to it, it's me, looking tired and all, and if you laugh....well, just know that I know where you live!(ok not really, but you get the idea):

But that's me, sporting my new hair cut that I did myself:o) I'm super proud of it too!
Ok, now for the touch up, and if you have me as a myspace friend, then you have already seen it, and yes you can "oooo" and "aawwww" over it again:o)

I love it, I got rid of the shadow under my eyes, because I just have awesome lighting in my house, and I softened up everything. As for the dots? I was going for something that looked like snow....because you know, I love snow....
So there you have it, my new hobby:o)

And as you can see, it's freakin early in the morning...Missy decided that sleeping is just way not cool anymore. Oh I wish I could convince her that it's just not a fad, and that a rested mommy is a much happier mommy too!

Speaking of Missy...she gave me a fat lip last night. Or I should say her toy gave me a fat lip. She didn't mean to, we were playing and she was sitting on top of me and the toy fell out of her hand. Hurt like heck, thought it chipped my tooth. But honestly, I like how my lip looks full now, got me thinking about injections or something like that. But not really:o)

How many days until Christmas? I am sooo in the holiday mood, it's me favorite time of the year. And tonight, we are going to the bridge lighting,just visit this LINK to see the bridge that I am talking about. It's a big town thing every year, and the bridge just looks sooo pretty when it's all lit up. Also, Santa and Mrs. Clause will be there....yeah, I'm asking for the winning lottery ticket:o)

When I got on the computer I was hoping to read some new blogs, but I guess everyone is now pacing them self's after this whole NaBloPoMo, I don't blame them. And the funny thing is that I don't have to post anything today, but here I am. Out of habit? I dunno.

So I will get some pictures of tonight and share them with you all. It's trying to snow! So yay! Maybe it will snow for us tonight....did I mention I *LOVE* the snow? Well, I do, very much.

It's the last day of NaBloPoMo?!
You know what that means? It means that soon I will be caught up with my reading and commenting!! Woo-hoo! I know your excited!

So again today, I am sooo very tired. I never got to take a real nap yesterday, and the one I had was only like 10min. long and it was not very good, because Missy was crawling all over me....fun.
And, Missy was pukey last night, so I stayed up with her. So it was another long night for me. I know, I know, "wah, wah, wine and moan" right? Ohhhh, whatever:o)

So tomorrow is Civil War here, and heck yeah we'll be wearing our green and yellow!

For those out of state, it's a big football game against University of Oregon and Oregon State University. Ducks and Beavers. Yeah-hah!

Ok, I better go and round up the children. And off to town we go!!

So, I have been up since 3:30am.....because Missy decided that it was time to get up.
No wonder why I have perma circles under my eyes!
And I have no idea why she woke up, but she just did not want to go back to bed.........
But she's sleeping now! And it's 6:25 am, she asleep and now Buddha Man is awake! Fun. Let me tell ya.
Maybe I'll get a nap today, after all it is Andrew's day off:o)

But I have allot to do today. Including putting some stuff on eBay to sell. You see Andrew's mother is a shop-aholic, and when she moved into her new house, totally for got a bag full of clothes she bought for Missy and Buddha Man....they are warmer weather clothes, but it's way to late to take them back, but they are super cute.
It's funny how my mother in law is, she does this kind of stuff all the time! She buys things, and then when she goes to the store again, she forgets if she had something and buys it anyways....this creates a cupboard full of cleaning products, a cupboard full of shampoo, soap, and other. And I'm sure she'll just keep on adding to it. I also clean her house for her, and I told her to stop buying cleaning products until I say so.......I said that 3months ago, and she has not stopped......oh well.
The good thing about her shopping is that she loves to buy Missy and Buddha Man clothes, so they are always in style. And it helps out allot, so we are thankful. Our friends like it too, because we hand down stuff all the time, and most of the time the kids only wear the clothes once(if I didn't do that, we would have tons and tons of clothes that never been worn)so they are really in great condition. I just hope one of our friends hurry up and have a boy, because the boxes are stacking up!

Ok, I'm super tired now. So maybe I'll go and try to nap alittle. Tomorrow should be fun, our Christmas shopping begins, yeah I know we are behind, but that how we roll:o)

About living next door to a music teacher!
We share a wall too......

I really don't know his name, he really does not talk to us and he's always gone. But when he's home with his girlfriend, the music is really loud.
But it has been a quiet few months, I think they broke up, I'm not sure. No, I don't snoop, all I know is that I have not seen her car around for awhile.
But I think he has a new girlfriend(or she got a new car). But the music has started up again.

It's going right now.

I had to turn up our movie.

Did I mention sometimes I wake up to him playing his piano? No? Well, I do. Funny because in our rental agreement, we are not allowed to have a piano......maybe he gets special treatment because he's a music teacher?

And I really can't go over and complain because I'm sure he hears it when the kids are not feeling good. You know, late nights when they stay up way too late.....

So I guess that really was not a rant, but just telling you what is going on......

As you can see my blog is looking alittle sad. That's because I went looking for a new theme and it didn't work out and yada, yada, yada.....you get the picture.
Then I get to all the fun adding the stuff back that I had, but I still need to find a theme. It's not that easy and I'm super picky about it. Maybe I should just pay someone to make me a snazzy layout that would fit my blog title.....

This NaBloPoMo is really kicking my butt!:o)
I really have nothing to write about......oh wait, I could tell you about my first Thanksgiving as a vegetarian....and then some randomness.
It was good, and I didn't get alot of crap from the siblings (actually, I think Robert liked the tofu). But my mommy made a really yummy tofu casserole for dinner. Along with my own gravy and stuffing. And of course there were lots of other things that I could have. Plus, the deserts were super yummy, that was my fave part:o)

Missy is now saying "yes" everytime you tell her "no". You can't help but laugh when she does this, it's just too cute!

Buddah Man has decided that he likes to sleep on Andrew and me at night. Hey, whatever to get him to sleep is fine with us.

I really don't like this whole getting dark earlier business....it gets cold way tooo fast and I miss the sun.

But I wish it would just snow already!

I think I gained like 1000lbs from Thanksgiving.

So as, promised, I will share some yummyness through pictures. And let me tell you, these pumpkin cupcakes are really, really yummy. I really *love* the cream cheese frosting on them, I think it's my fave part:o)

It never ends!!

You know that song? The one that NEVER ends? Well, that's pretty much my life...as far as cleaning goes.
And I think I take longer then the average bear...when cleaning my house. Want to know why? They go by the names "Buddha Man" and "Missy". But they are me favorite distractions.
But it never fails, if I want to clean the living room, they decide that they want to play in it too. Same with the kitchen, and dining room. It's fun, let me tell ya.
Buddha Man comes crawling like a mad man toward the vacuum and broom. It's like he has some sort of super hearing, and he knows when I bring them out.
And Missy? Well she likes to dump her buckets of toys out in any room that I am trying to clean up. Like I said, it never ends.

And now both babies are sick...so I got a double dose of fun-ness here. So if you want to some of this snot-ness, then come on over! Admit it, you jealous.

And what's with me adding "ness" to everything? I have been doing it all day!

Oh and one more thing, I'm going to be making some yummy pumpkin cupcakes later, so I'll share the goodness via pictures:o)

Monday, monday......

Well, you guessed it, it's Monday!! I'm not doing Fun Monday this week, but I wanted to remind you that there are allot of people who do that.....so go check them out!

I'm rearranging our house today, so I thought I would post now instead of worrying about it later. Yup, that means unplugging the computer!!! Oh the horror! I seriously go crazy if I don't have some access to the net or something. Wow, I need help, huh?LOL! But the house needs is, or should I say we need it? Andrew and I are the same on this, but we get bored with the same layout day after day.....so, I'm gunna spice it up!:o)

Today is also Missy Madison's first day with a routine....and I have to say that it's going well. I cut out alot of TV....she does not watch it allot, but we always have it on........but that's because of me, I hate not having back round noise. So I made two Cd's to have playing while the TV is off.

Oh and Missy is sick....she's not feeling her self. That runny nose really bothers her, and hates it when mommy comes at her to wipe it off. I jut hope Buddha Man does not get it, or me, or Andrew...that would suck.

You know what also sucks? Andrew's work....yeah after Thanksgiving he goes to only having one day off a week. Ahhh, retail, gotta love it(rolling eyes).
Speaking of retail, how many of you are shopping on Black Friday? Not me, way too many people. But just remember that the cashiers and sales people are people too....ok I'll admit it, there are allot of dump people out there working, but don't freak out on them if they don't have what you want.....get over it and move on to another store. It happens, stuff runs out.
It's really scary, there is this one gal that I know, and she is the nicest, sweetest person I know, but when Black Friday comes around, she. is. evil! Really, watch out for this chick!

Ok, I better go, start on lunch and getting this house stuff underway.

I really thought that I would not make the post tonight. But yay, I did.
Last night we had an accident with the key board, and thought we needed to but a new one.
So in to town we went, but first we had to stop and watch a movie:o)
My husband took me to see "Beowulf" in 3D. And let me tell you, it was awesome!:o) I loved the book when I was in high school, so much that I own the book now:o) And when I heard that they were making this movie I got really excited. Of course they change the story alittle, but that happens. So yeah, it was good, go see it!!

Ok, I guess I will come back tomorrow and do a better post, because it's 11:36pm right now and I'm very tired.

I know you love randomness, I mean I *love* randomness, so you have to! No? oh well, you're going to get it anyways!

So today, we ran into town(ok, really didn't run, we drove, geez)to get Buddha Man's second round of the flu shot....What?! Why the heck do we give out kids that when we stay home? Well, I'll tell you, it's because Andrew(he needs a nickname by the way)works with the public and brings home allot of stuff we don't like.....so we are just being safe. Anyhoo, Buddha Man did great and sister Missy Madison(not really a nickname)was there to support him and even held his hand. It was sooo cute, I wish I had my camera! Yeah he cried for a whole 5seconds...

Missy Madison *loves* the play area at the mall, and *loves* that there are always kids there. But mommy hates the weird old creepy guys who sit in the area and watched the kids play....I know, I know, he may just be a lonely guy who loves kids and may be the nicest guy in the world, but he just gave me a weird vibe....

Missy Madison is also getting to "grown up" for the stroller and wanted nothing to with it today...but she was such a good girl walking next to us, not running off and smiling and waiving to everyone. She's soo cute sometimes, I can't stand it!

Mommy(is it weird that I refer to myself as mommy? Ahh, who cares, it's my blog:o))is currently working on writing up a schedule for during the day....my mommy(really my mom)gave me a pep talk, she said "you can do it! and twice on Sundays!".....no she really didn't say that...but it was a good pep talk about routines.

Buddha Man, well, he seems to think he's a dog...or something. I'll have to post pictures of it later....but it's cute.

ready for some yummyness?

Is that even a word? "yummyness"? hummm......ahh, who cares.
But I thought, that because I mention it all the time, and I don't think I posted it yet....I could be wrong and double posting on the same thing.....but I wanted to share the recipe for banana-carrot bread!
Oh my gosh people, this is the best stuff ever and super(with a "lisp") easy to make.

Sooo, here we go!!

Banana-Carrot Bread

1/2c. margarine
1c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2c. flour
1tsp. baking soda
1/2tsp. baking powder
1/2tsp. cinnamon
1c. mashed banana
1c. shredded carrots

beat together margarine and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs, then add banana and mix well.
Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and carrots. Stir together until blended. Pour into two greased loaf pans. Bake @ 350 for 40-50min. cool, eat and enjoy!

So now, go out and buy the stuff you need and make it!! You know you want to!

Sorry, the title is as random as this post is going to be....because today is a random kind of day, didn't you know?

I love it when Missy Madison just starts dancing to any music...yes even to commercials:o)

OMG, I forgot how teething was...but kindly Buddha Man reminded me...6 teeth down and how many more to go? and yeah, he's only 7months old.

I am going to make a quiche and banana-carrot bread tonight...who knows, we may ea them together, you know, to spice things up:o)

My hair is getting really heavy that it's giving me head aches( I have really thick hair)....I think I need a hair cut.

Missy Madison thinks it's fun to take off her diaper and then run away laughing really hard...

then it's a fight to get it back on.

I thought geese would be going south right now, but the flock that has been camping out in the field behind our house has been here for four days now.

I picked out a new color do do my nails in, it's called "cherry splash", but my husband hates it.....and I really don't care:o)

I am really, really excited about going back to school.

well, that's all for now. It's getting cold, and I should turn on the heaters for the night....did I mention we got snow in the hills last night? It's that time again!! Yay!

with me kids. We have no set bed time, no set bath time, no set nothing. And it's driving me crazy. I mean I *love* it when they sleep in, but hate it when they stay up longer.
And as a stay at home mom, i should have some routine down, right?

I just don't know where to start.

I guess I have been thinking about this more because I am going back to school. Yay. I am very excited. I'm going after a bachelors in heath care management. And with that, these two kids, Buddha Man and Missy Madison, need some sort of something. You know, so that I can study, homework and all the fun stuff with going to school. That also means mommy needs to be going to bed before midnight.

So my fellow parents....what does your day look like? What works for your little one? I have until January, but like I said, I have no idea of how to start. Help me:o)

I know, I know, I'm getting to animal rights crazy, but I think I'll just stick with the old fashioned way of washing a dog...and if I didn't want to, I would pay someone else to wash the dog.

That's my son. And why do I call him Buddha Man? Because someone told my mother that he looks little on the plus side....heh, whatever. He's far from being fat, but I thought it was kinda funny and so started to call him that and it stuck....don't worry, when he gets older I'll stop calling him that, don't want to give him that idea.
And I guess this is really not and adventure, but just a cute picture post...oh yeah, I said pictures! Excited? I bet you are!

How could I forget?!

How was every one's halloween? I totally forgot to share my experience with going out trick or treating with a toddler and a baby! Ha!
Well, my friend was visiting from out of town(her family lives here) and we went trick or treating together....her son is Madison's boyfriend:o) No really, her son is about 6months older then Madison and her daughter is four months younger then Nolan.
So we met up, and went out. Both babies fell asleep in their warm costumes,(her baby was a banana and her son was a monkey...how cute is that?)oh and we took my sister with us so that we could have an extra pair of hands(thank you Shar-par!).
Ok, now the fun part....her son liked the idea of getting candy, but didn't like the idea of strangers giving it to him, so her broke down every time someone opened their door. And Miss Madison, she thought that going up to a door meant that you go in....and when I would not let her, she broke down too.
We gave up after four houses....
And it was funny because people saw two toddlers crying coming from a house and they thought that house was out of candy....so they just walked by......
Awww, yes, it was fun.
We took Madison to my parents house, and took off her costume, then she was fine. And she wanted to meet and greet all the trick or treaters that came by. When she heard the knock, she would run to the door, say "hi" to everyone, talk in gibberish and then say "bye" and close the door.....if I would have know she would have been happy doing that, we would have just done that all night.
Oh and yeah, I'm one of those bad parents that give my kids candy;o) Nolan had his first sucker and didn't want to let it go, and Madison, being cute and all, got alittle more candy then I would have liked giving her. And she was up untill 1:30 in the morning!!! Ugh...
So I hope your halloween was good:o)
And I have some pics to share, but I'm a little too lazy right now to upload them....so maybe later?

Maybe not the topic that people want to read about? You know, about the whole going vegetarian thing? I kinda got the hint when I saw that I didn't have any comments....let me just say, I am not here to push this on anyone, it's not for everybody, but I feel, it is for me.
My husband and family asked me this question: "Didn't God put animals on earth for man to eat?".....yeah maybe, but to me, God also wants us to respect his creatures.....then Andrew kindly reminds me that "animals have no souls"...that may be, but they feel, they hurt, and they cry out when they are in pain. And to me it is a big deal. But like I said before, I gave up on red meat before, and now it's only chicken, pork and fish....I say again to husband, family and friends of mine....this is for me.

Ok, so maybe not the best first posting for November, but oh well. But you all should go over and see what some nice random dude emailed Biddy ....some people have no class, and if she's stupid, then I must be dumb as a.....see, I'm soo dumb, I don't know what I'm as dumb as, LOL.

Can you believe it? What happen to the year already?
It's that time to start shopping for Christmas if you haven't already got it done, I, myself is a last minute person....so yeah, that should be fun:o)

Also....it's time to start NaBloPoMo!! And I bet you are all wondering what I'm going to write about...well, here it is.....
This month, I will be posting not only about my kids, family and so on, but also about becoming a vegetarian in a all meat eating family/household. Now before you all go crazy on me, I have done my research, because I am anemic and my family was concerned about that. I found that you can get all you need for other sources, and I'm fine with it:o)
It really has not been that big of a deal because I kinda gave up red meat awhile ago. My body had started to reject it, making me very sick to my stomach after I ate it. And I even signed a thing-of-a-ma-jig saying that I will try to go vegetarian for 30days. You can find that on this site:Go Veg
And I really have not given up dairy.....this will be the hard one, and I may not give it up at all. I just really don't like the taste of soy milk. Now chocolate soy milk, that's another story:o)
So there you have it, and I actually already started, my family thinks I'm crazy, so does Andrew, but this is what I want to do.

I have to go, I will come back later and write more about why I am doing this, but right now the kids are "calling" me:o)

Pumpkin patch, Fall, and other fun stuff!

First off, about my last post...as many of you guessed, Madison is attempting using the potty. But really, I don't think she is ready. I have read to leave the little potty out so that she can get to it, but she likes to put the seat on as a hat, or stand in it. Fun right? yeeaaa-hah.

Sooo we went to the pumpkin patch, but as the great mommy as you all know that I am, I didn't get alot of pictures. I was too busy chasing Madison through the crowd(yes we were smart and went on a Saturday, after the Duck game was over.....for the locals, you know what I'm talking about) and trying to sanitize her hands after she had to touch every animal on that farm. But she was cute doing it. And why didn't Andrew help me out? Because he had Mr. Nolan strapped to him in the baby carrier and was limited to small movements:o) But we had fun, and got two pumpkins(both weighting more then my kids together!) and some yummy corn.

So I thought I would share some pictures of the drive down the mountain( again, for the locals, you know what I'm talking about) and the pretty fall colors. But the pics are ok, I need a better camera and these were taken from inside the car and the window was yuck.

So today I thought I would share some pictures of my ever-so-cute-kids:o) But first, a picture a of me and my sisters:
As you can see, that's me, then Sandra and then our little sister Sharmain, but we call her Shar-par, or Shar-par-ness, or simply weirdo(but in the most loving way possible:o)) And ugh, I have the fattest cheeks ever! And Sandra is Miss Skinny Mini! We had fun when her family came down, but it was not long enough.

So my kids are cute...there is no getting past that. But when the get together....it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside:o)Like the other day, we got this on camera:

Now that's cute huh? And Madison didn't want us to take him down, she liked having him on her lap. Oh and also, she loves to tickle him....I wish I could post video's because it's something that every one should see:o)

I'm in some sort of slump here, and I know I'm going to be in trouble when November gets here....why, oh why did I sign up for NaBloPoMo? For those who don't know what it is, just simply click on my NaBloPoMo badge to the right there----->

This week's Fun Monday is being hosted by WT, he wants to see some clothing art. That's tee shirts, baseball caps, hoodies, sports uniforms or any bit of clothing that you or your kids own that has interesting, funny or artistic graphics.

So, I thought that this would be easy, but really me and my husband don't own alot of interesting shirts or clothing...but my kids do, or I seem to think so:o)

First we'll start off what Andrew and I have:

This one is mine(butterflies are not Andrew's thing:o)) the butterflies are crocheted and have pearls and other beads on them:

This is the kind of t-shirts Andrew has, like Han Solo, Thunder cats, Mighty Mouse and one that says "I fling Poo"... yup, and he gets stopped all the time by people saying how neat his shirts are:o)

This is a sweater that my aunt got for Madison, and the lady that she bought it from made it...and yes some are alpacas, because my aunt raises them:o)

And this shirt Madison just loves, because 1. she's a big sister and 2. she a girly girl that love sparkles:o)

Yes, poop. That's what I feel like today. I started off the day feeling ok. Got up with Nolan, did our usual morning routine while Madison and Andrew slept. The about 11ish I got really tired and my stomach started to hurt really bad.
Ugh. It still kind of hurts. So...hummm.....how about some randomness?

This morning, instead of coming up the stairs to ask me a question, Andrew calls the home phone with his cell phone.....that's ok, I guess maybe I would have done the same thing if I got to sleep in....oh, wait...that never happens:o)

If you had bacon something the night before, your house smells like it the next morning...gross I know...and I even washed all the dishes from last night.

My daughter is crazy. She takes after her father....but he says she takes after me....hummm.

Strawberry cream cheese is not very good. It looks good, but I really didn't like it.

I really want some chocolate milk......

I still have not put all the pictures that are on this computer on a disk...I really need to get to it.

I finished another painting last night.

A tuna fish sandwich with pickles and lettuce sounds really good right now.

My son Nolan, yeah, he eats paper. Madison's books are no longer safe.

I have the Elmo's World song stuck in my head.....

My husband is finally cleaning the garage, after a year of living here.

Thinking about making some banana-carrot bread tonight.....maybe I should go start:o)

So I never claimed to be a "domestic goddess", so I don't know what my husband was thinking.....
He was getting ready for work today, and came out of the shower wrapped in his towel like usual. But he was wiping his face but I couldn't see anything from where I was sitting(you know that thing you do when you walk through a spider web, and your sure people think your crazy because they can't see it? that's what I saw)
Me: What's going on there?
Him: Your robe, that's what's going on.
Me: Huh? ( I got up and stood next to him, I noticed little fuzzy things floating around)
Him: You washed your robe with the towels, and it left fuzzes on everything!
Me: Buahahaha!!
Him: It's not funny! I can't get them off, and it's going up my nose and in my mouth!
Me: Buahahahahaha! (and at this time Madison thought she should laugh with mommy too)
Him: grumble-grumble(stomps down the stairs)
Me and Madison: Buahahahahaha!
So yeah, I rule. Oh and I do stuff like....ummmm....blog and not clean, gasp! Who does that?:o)

I think I'm losing my mind too....and I'm going crazy, but that's because of my daughter. What? Why? Oh because every five minutes she's opening the fridge and unloading it. Fun. Does any one have a solution for that? Because I have not clue as what to do.....yeah, and I rhyme too....dang it.

I have a new layout...it's snazzy, right? My husband thinks I'm crazy, but that's ok. And why does he think I'm crazy? Because I kinda got upset that I lost all of my stuff that I had to the side there, including all the blogs that I lurk around......So, it you don't see your blog there and it was before, please don't think I'm getting rid of you, it's just I have not got around to putting you back on. And really that means, I have to retrace my steps(you know, jumping from one blog to another)and find you again, because I didn't write anything down.....I know, bad me.

So, on a side note...it's raining....it's actually been raining for a couple of days. And it's kind of nice. But I still like summer better. Worlds Oldest Blogger Turns 108!

I sure it's all old new to most bloggers, but for me, as I logged in today, I had to take a double take.
108! Wow! What is her secret? And she blogs?! Amazing. I bet it's just full of neat stories and such. Here is the link to the video Click here and a link to her blog: Olive. It's say that she does not actually turn 108 until the 20th, but still...it's just soo cool.(yes, I said cool:o))

So today, or um, actually this morning we were supposed to have a WIC appt. It was at 8:00am, which means that we would have to get up at 5ish and out the door no later then 7:00am. Yeah well that didn't happen. Madison woke me up at 6:58am, and Andrew was still snoring away.
Why didn't we sent an alarm clock you ask? We did. But we all didn't fall asleep untill...ummm..I wanna say 2:30am. Yeah, long night. So we slept through the annoying sound of Andrew's alarm.
And I hate the sound of alarms. And I think I always have a mini heart attack when it goes off(and when it actually works), but when it wakes me up, my heart is pounding, almost like it scared me awake. And those light ones do not work for me.
Now I truly feel like a mom....crying baby and I'm up like that.....alarm, ehh, whatever......babies moves in bed, eyes fling open.....phone rings, let the voicemail get it...see what I'm saying?

And my sister and the family left yesterday morning. It was soo nice to see them again. The kids have grown up soo much. I really wished they lived closer. Oh and my sister started a blog(yeah, I kinda helped with that:o)) So if you wanna check it out it's over in my blog roll or simply click this , she does not have any blog friends yet and was asking how you get them, so I told her to start stalking blogs and leave comments and soon it will happen:o)
I have pictures, it's just I really don't want to upload them right now. Speaking of uploading pictures, I should put the hundreds of pictures on my computer on a disk today.....hummmm.

So I should go, and maybe clean....or something like that...

Ahh, again so behind on this one, and I'm sitting here trying to think of more things and I can't! This is going to be hard:o)

21 I used to read
Allot, I would start a novel and maybe finish that day, or the next. Once I got started, I would not stop. Now, I really don't have the time.:o(

22. I love the beach!
Even when it's raining. I would go there everyday if I could, but my husband does not like it so much.

23. I don't like coffee.
But I will drink "fu-fu" coffee, like my fave: White Chocolate Mocha:o)

24. I hate to order food.
And for some reason when I do, I get all tongue tied and I sound like a dork.

25. I love scary movies.
but I hate to be scared. yes even now as a grown up, after watching a scary movie I cannot walk into a dark room, I need the light on. Go ahead and laugh....

Desserts and such too. I like trying new things out, and I think my family likes it too when I do:o)

I was thinking about doing a side business with it too, it would be soo fun.

Sad I know, and really sad when I need someone to talk to. Being a SAHM is really lonely, because everyone else is working.:o(

how? Well it's because of divorce. I have three sisters, and three brothers. And me, in the middle. But I grew up as the oldest for most of my life, weird, I know, and it's too long to explain.

33. I have really bad short term memory
and it drives my husband insane. Maybe I should start doing lists or something....

34. I hate to clean
but I love a clean house(who doesn't?)So do you wanna come and clean for me?

35. my first car was a 65 Ford Fairlane
And I soo wish now that I didn't sell it. I miss "Bertha".

I know I just got my nose pierced, but now I think I have the itch to add to my ink:o)

And I got it right after I graduated. To me it symbolizes becoming something new, and I love it, though sometimes I forget that it's there, because it's on my back and I don't see it everyday.

38. my kids don't look like me anymore
and it makes me sad. When ever I go out with them, people always comment how much they look like Andrew....But Nolan does have my eyes:o)

39. I always have to have music going
I love to dance, I'm not that good, and if i had my blinds open in the house, people would laugh at me:o)

40. I sing really loud in the car
I mean I really belt it out. Yeah, I probably look like a crazy person, but oh well:o)

They're here!!

My sister and her family are here!! I am soo happy to see them again! I am kinda bummed out because dad is out of state working, he could not get the time off because someone went on vacation, so he will miss them.
But yes, I am taking lots of pictures, and Madison just *loves* her cousins! So, kind of a short post, was a very busy day and tomorrow will be too. Sooo, I'm off to bed, I am sooooooooo very tired.

I have to share a story....

It's about our dog that we used to have, his name is Brady and this is him:

He's cute huh? We thought so:o) Andrew and I got him when we were dating, and I just moved into my own place, and really did not like staying by myself. So we looked in the paper......"Puppies for sale; will be medium sized dogs" ok, so I called about them and got directions.
We got there and was greeted by three puppies, but one stayed up on the deck, he didn't want to go down the stairs....but when I saw him, I knew I just had to have him....it was his one white paw that got me:o)
So that's how we got Brady, oh and he's a border collie lab mix. He was mostly border collie. So he was a very hyper puppy.
But when we had Madison, we saw that it was not fair to him. I didn't have the time to play with him, and border collies need alot of attention and things to do or they will start to get into trouble. So we gave him away. And this is the beginning of the story I wanted to tell you...
The lady that took Brady had another border collie. We knew it was a good match, because the lady didn't have any children and she treated her dog like a kid, took them every where. So the other day Andrew goes to get his hair cut. The lady just happens to be the one that has Brady. Andrew asked about him and this is what she said:
"Oh he is just doing great, I love him soo much and so does my other dog. In fact I think Brady saved her life! She was not doing to well, getting sick and fat and not really happy. Then when we got Brady, she was just soo happy to have a friend and now she's doing better then ever!" This lady always brings the dogs to her shop, but not Brady because "he's just too happy and loves people so much that he wants to be in their laps"...so he has not really changed, he still thinks he's a lap dog, but he's far from it.:o)
So that's my story, it made me smile and happy knowing that we gave him to someone who will give him a great forever home.

So, what's new with me? hummm, let's see....
For about 3days now I have been trying to paint Audry Hepburn.....and it's not going so well. But I'm really trying to challenge myself into trying out new things to paint. The pose that I'm having a hard time with? It's this: Nice, huh?
I just can't seem to do it right.
My first try, I made her crossed eyed, didn't look so good. My second try, her face was too fat. And now, my third, I'm too afraid to go past the eyes in fear that I will have to start all over again.......

And you know what's really sad? This:
He's a way better painter then I am and he's blind!! BLIND I tell you! And his work is amazing...if only I could do half of what he does.

Well, I should go, I want to at least get the outline of her done before I head to bed.

Updates, updates, updates....

Ok, not really updates, more like a....ummmm....I don't know what to call it. I have been seriously slacking in the blogging department, and for that I am sorry, but I have been keeping up on my reading of other blogs, but again slacking in the commenting department.....

Sooo, as you all know, Madison is now two. Sigh, my baby girl is growing. way. too. fast. And of course she got spoiled, but we don't say spoiled in this house, it's "just loved":o) She got a kitchen set from Andrew's mom, a table and chairs from my parents, a Vsmile from us and a ton of coloring stuff from all of us and everyone else. I just cannot believe she is two.....

And Mr. Nolan, he's six months now! A half of a year!! It seems like yesterday I gave birth to him....He's growing fast too. And looking more like Andrew every day. Sigh.

Andrew had a birthday too. His was the 8th, and he turned 27. Sometimes I make fun of him for being so close to 30(I'm not trying to offend anyone) but then I remember I'm not that far off either. Plus, I do it out of love:o)

So that's about it for updates on us, nothing new with me. Oh wait, my older sister and her family are going to be here on Sunday. I am super excited, it's been over two years sense that last time I've seen her. Her kids are getting so big too, and they have not met Madison or Nolan, so she's excited about that too. So I will have a picture over load when they come.

That's right, save the ta tas! So this is for all the gals out there. I wont go into what you should do, because really you should know it already, and I'm sure you are all aware that this month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. So do what it says up there, and squish a boob and save a life.....but don't go around squishing strangers boobs, because 1. that would just be dumb and 2. you might get slapped.....your choice, so think about it:o)

Well that was my PSA, and I'm a little tired. So off to bed I go!!:o)

I really didn't think it would, the weather people said it would last week and we didn't even see a drop. Oh well, I guess it is that time of year. But on the side note, I get to dress Madison and Nolan in their cute fall clothes:o)

Ok, and in this house, things have not been going smoothly....these two:

Don't let the cuteness fool you(ok, Madison's picture looks like she's going to hurt you or something, but she's going through this faze that she will not hold still for a picture, and I have to take what I can get), they are both teething!! That's right, so I get it, twice the fun. I guess that's why I have not been blogging as I should have. But yes, Madison is getting more molars and Nolan his top teeth. Fun. Really it is.

I have been painting again, kinda like starting all over. I'm also working on one that is taking me longer because I cannot seem to get the right color for what I want. But I will show off what I did already:

I'm really happy with how they turned out. The fairy one is a small painting, it's like a 5 by 7, and the horse(that one took forever too) is a 12 by 16.

Well, I should go, I have to get the kids fed and dressed.

Already a year?(blogoversary)

Ok, well really it's tomorrow. But I don't think I'll have time to blog, so I thought I would do it today:o) Oh lucky you!

As I look back, I really did not know what I was doing.....oh, wait, I still don't know if I'm doing this whole blog thing right.......moving on...
And my post were alittle spaced out too, and on top of that not very interesting....oh crap, I haven't improved in that area either....

So what was going on in my life?:

We were trying to sell our house. And finally it sold,(oh lucky us) we were soo happy about it! We thought it would never sell, because it was just not a house but a duplex, and most people don't want to rent out their property. But it sold, thank goodness:o)

Madison was going to be one! And now I cannot believe my baby girl is going to be two here pretty soon. My time goes by soo fast. And oh yes, she was the cutest little monkey for Halloween. sigh.

And we just found out we were pregnant again! It was a shock, was not planning on it, but couldn't be happier. I always knew Nolan was a boy, but I think my family thought I would have all girls...haha, not me, I think my brother might though:o)

Soo, that about sums it all up, again not that exciting for you, but what a year form me and my family. From us being sick, going on trips, a trip to New Mexico, getting a new car, going back to a one car family(it sucks), the scary birth that we had, and now, more birthdays, and more, more, more! Crazy I tell ya, just crazy!

I seem to obsess about things lately, and it's really not the creepy kind I assure you. It's just that I get an idea in my head and then I want it done now.
Like we are currently looking for a place closer to Andrew's work. When the idea was new, I would always be on the look out for a place, that is all that is listed on the net. Now that has died down alittle and I don't look as much as I used to.
Now, it seems that dogs have caught my interest. And you know what sucks even more? We are not allowed to have any, and I mean any pets here, not even fish! Yeah our landpeople(owners) are crazy, but not just because of that....
But I have now narrowed it down to two kind of breeds that I want, and oh yes I have pics for you to all oooohhh and aaawwww over :oP

The Corgi:
They are soo stinkin cute!! And they stay small, but not too small. Ever sense my mother in law got one, I fell in love. She keeps on telling me that because her dog is a bully that all corgi's are, but really it's because the way he is raised- with another dog that is old and grumpy....so he learns it from her(the other dog, not my mother in law, LOL). So now with the pictures that I have collected:

Aren't they soo cute?! And yes I am fully aware that I am showing puppy corgi's, but to me even when they grow up they are still cute!

The Beagle:
I have always loved this breed and so has Andrew. I hear that they are really good with kids too. But I do have to say one thing, I want a purebred beagle....I say that because my family has a dog, his name is Duke:o) But anyways, when we got him, the people told my parents that he was a beagle....but he is mixed with a terrier too and I really don't like terriers....but I like Duke......when he's calm, and sleeping.......:o) Ok, on with the pictures!

Ok, how could you not go "aawwww" at that last picture? He's like saying "I know I did something bad, but I'm sorry". And yes, I posted puppy pictures again,( I can't help it) but grown up beagles are cute too, trust me!:o)

So there you have it, I'm weird, but I knew that:o) And those are the two breeds of dogs that I want to get, even though we can't have, but I want them anyways:o)

So not much going on here. I'm just sitting here singing along with my husband's game. Guitar Hero...have you played it yet? It's fun, has great songs on it and it makes you feel like a really good guitar player...really it does. Even though if you tried to pick up a real guitar and play the cords that the game shows you, it will not sound good.....trust me.......I tried:o)

We went looking at Halloween costumes the other day....and I cannot believe the ones that we wanted were $50 each! I know it may not be alot for some, but I really can't see spending that on something that they will only wear once! But the ones we were looking at are soo stinkin cute....Nolan will be either a skunk or a penguin, they are warm too, so that will help. And Madison will either be a ballerina or a 50's girl, ya know with the poodle skirt and all:o)

Wow, 25 years...I bet that makes my dad feel old;oP

Wow, it's been a busy weekend/week so far. You see it's my birthday on Friday, and my husband decided to celebrate it this last weekend. It was great, we had a surprise BBQ. I really didn't know it was going to be on Sunday, and to get me out of the house my mom asked if i could come over and help with a cake for my sister's friends birthday, little did I know that I was decorating my own cake!
He did a great job putting it all together. And the food was yummy.
Also I got some great gifts, and my husband surprised me with something that I wanted to do for a very long time now:
You see it? Really it's not a zit! I promise:o) But it's a diamond and I love it. I was really, really surprised about it.

Oh, and I got this: It's PINK!!! and sooo small, but it's great, it holds just what I want and it can clip on to anything, so it will be great for when I go on walks:o)

And I know I am soo behind on things with the blog and such, it's just getting hard to get on because Nolan is teething.....I just could not imagine what that might feel like, I feel so bad for him. Also Madison has been getting cabin fever, so she has not been her happy self, but hopefully with it cooling down we can get out and about.

......actually, I think I could catch up tonight, Andrew is home and entertaining Nolan, and Madison is asleep, so I have time:o)

Some Randomness....

Oy, it's been a long three days. Sorry for not posting, I have not been feeling well and wanted to just be in bed.

I am soo behind on my reading but I did come across two things that made me smile:
1.) I got a new award! I will post about it later, but it made my day:o)
2.) and I got tagged! Never got tagged in the blogdom before, so all smiles here!

I did get out of my husband that there is to be a BBQ for my birthday, but I don't know when, don't know where, and I don't know who is going to be there....Sooo, BBQ+nice weather= one happy Monica:o)

my son kinda freaks me out when he is sleeping......he sleeps with his eyes open sometimes. Very weird. Oh and sometimes his eyes will fallow you. Creepy.

My daughter is evil. What? How can that be? Well, let me tell you. I had a cut on my leg, so of course I put a band aid over it. Madison, for amusement, started to poke at it. And throws her head back and laughs when you say "ouch". It's kinda cute, but evil, you know?

I had a scare today. It happened so fast too. I was watering the shrub out front and just let the water run over it. After awhile I went outside to turn it off, then the door slammed behind me. I could have swore that I had it unlocked, but when I tried to open the door, it was indeed locked. And the kids were inside!!!
So I went across the street and asked if I could use the phone, but those neighbors were moving out, so their phone was disconnected! Arg! So I went to another house, and she works for my mother in law so she knew who I was, I asked her if I could use the phone. I called the local lock smith and he was not home, the panic sunk in even deeper now...I was getting sick to my stomach, thinking that the kids might be crying for me or something. So I called my mother in law to see if my brother in law could some over and crawl through the upstairs windows because they were unlocked and I am afraid of heights. "yes! we are on our way!" she said, then I could breath.
They come over, Ben got up on the ladder and was working on the screen. I asked him if he could see the kids(our living room is upstairs), he said he could see Nolan playing on the floor, and Madison was standing on the couch looking out at him. She was all smiles! They didn't even know I was gone!
So of course now I am in. But it was scary, I had so many things running through my head. But everything was ok.

Yay! Picture time! Are you excited?! I know you are, it's okay to admit it, promise!:o)
I will be sharing with you tonight, or this morning, what ever it is(it's 12:06am right now for me), some before and after pictures of my kids room.....why? Well because Madison is now(well has been for like a week now) in a big girl bed, and Nolan is now(again for like a week) sleeping in a crib in their room(they share right now).

But first I dug up my cheerleader picures so you can all see what I was talking about.

The bed was actually Madison's great grandmother's bed and is made of brass, so it has some nice history to it:o)

I am soo tired right now, and really we did nothing today.
Oh, guess what?! I'm going to be 25 on the 14th! Can you belive it? I just remember when I was younger I thought 25 was sooo stinkin old! Now......okay I still think I'm getting old, but it's not that old:o)

100 things about me;o)

because I really have a hard time with coming up with interesting things to write, and really I'm working on that, and I am too lazy to deal with pictures right now(wow, that's been like the last four post huh?) Oh by the way, if you wanna see some really cute pictures of pets check out this blog, Willowtree has some pretty stinkin cute fur babies if I do say so myself:o)
So I stole this idea from ~M, and I think she got the idea from someone else........I dunno.

And I know it looks easy, but really it's not. So I'm going to do 20things at a time until I get to 100, because there is no way I could do it all in one sitting.....

So on with it! The first 20 things about me, because I know, your all dying to know;o)

1.) I love cold day old pizza!
My husband thinks I am sooo weird about this. He thinks a day old pizza should be microwaved and eaten that way.....me, not so much, I love it cold, don't why.

2.) I am obsessed with winning the lottery
It drives my husband insane, but you watch, I will win it!:o)

3.) I have a crush on Elvis
the young Elvis, and no he's not dead, he's working in Las Vegas.....seriously!

4.) I like the color pink
As if you couldn't tell. I use to hate it, but when I was pregnant with Madison, even before we knew she was a Madison, I just started to like pink.....now, I have it on everything! My cell phone, my toe nails, and most of the time and article of clothing.

5.) My husband and I did not get along in high school
He's two years older then me, and he dated my friends, but we did not like each other....so much that I think I tried to make one friend dump him. But who would have thought that we would have ended up together? Friends that have not seen me since we graduated are like "no way! You guys hated each other!" weird, I know.

6.) I was a cheerleader
A sad one at that. I was the fat one( I can hear my mom now saying that I should not talk that way), and it only lasted one football season.....sometime I will post a pic of it......maybe.

7.) I have PPD
I really don't talk about it much, mainly because I get the feeling that it's some big bad word and what kind of mother has it ya know? It's not that bad, and not that uncommon, allot of women have it, I just chose to get help.

8.) I love to make art
I say make art because I draw, paint, water color, sculpt, and so on. My first award I won I was in the first grade, my last was my senior year. And it seems that being artsy runs in the family, both my mom and sister are and it seems Madison is too. I haven't done so much lately, but I asked for supplies for my bday. :o)

9.) I'm a lefty!
Always been one to;o) though at one point, I cannot remember how old I was, I fractured my pointer finger on my left hand and had to learn to write with my right hand, I did it, but did not stay that way.

10.)I'm Apache, Aztec(Mexican) and Viking all in one
mutt? sure why not, but I'm proud of it:o)

11.) I love the snow
I love it! Wish it could be just this and #12

12.) I love summer
I love it! Wish it could be just this and #11

13.) Love going for long car rides
And we really don't have to be going to a certain place, I just love the time I get to talk to my husband, make faces at Madison, and enjoy Nolan talking to his toys:o) To me there is nothing more relaxing then to just drive off.

14.) I prefer to shower, not take a bath
I used to love baths....now, not so much. I feel cleaner after a shower then a bath too.

15.) When I sleep, I have to have some sort of covering on
either a sheet or a full blanket, even if it's like 100 degrees, I need something over me

16.) And also when I sleep, I cannot have anything by my face
or I freak out, thinking I can breathe. I need fresh air people!:o)

17.) I have a hard time getting rid of clothes
that I don't ware anymore. I don't know why, but I just kinda think to myself "well, maybe someday I will need it" so that is why I have a ton of clothes and really nothing to ware..........hummmm.

18.) Two children, that's it!
No more grand kids from us, we are done! Both because really we only wanted two, and because the way I have babies we fear it might be really bad for the baby and I next time. So there will be no next time.

19.) I rather drink soda or juice then water
Why? Because fish have sex in water! Yeah, I said it. I'm kidding, I like water, but I would rather have some flavor.

20.) I used to run every day
before school and during school. Now, i get winded just walking up our stairs....sad, I know, but someday(I'm working on it) I will be running again.

Whew, that was hard, and it took me forever! yeah so, there ya go, now you know 20 things about me. Interesting things? well, no. But still it's things:o)

I really need to get it together and post some pictures don't I? I mean I have a ton, and they are all loaded onto the computer, but really, I'm to lazy to deal with all the resizing and what not. I suck, I know.

Sooo, I, the girl who said she would not go back to work until her kids are in school, is now looking for a part-time job. Mainly for adult conversation(because really, being a stay at home mommy is really lonely if you don't have a car) and also because it would be sooo nice to have a second income. Because, as we all know, we did not win the lottery.....I swear it's rigged. Sigh.

I really just want to do something like.....ummmm, okay I don't know. I was going to apply for city hall job, but that closed before I even heard about it. And so I'm looking at a bank job, I just hope I could find my resume, it's been two years since I've seen it. And I did have a copy on my mother in laws computer, but it crashed and took everything with it.....grrrrrr. I have to remember to call my last place of employment tomorrow and see if they still have my stuff on file.....I really hope they do. It would make my job easier.

Okay, update time! Yay!

Nolan- he is rolling everywhere!! And I mean it! I think some days he's trying to escape, I found him rolling toward the gate, and he actually did make it to it, but I scooped him up and put him back to his starting spot. Yeah, and I think he glared at me too. Oh, and we all think(we meaning Andrew, my mom, his mom, and me) that Nolan will me crawling soon, he's really close to doing it. Ahhhh, I'm really not ready to have to mobile babies in the house!:o)

Madison- is sooo stinkin smart! She is really good at problem thinking, like ummm, how to get the snacks off the counter-duh, just roll the chair or anything that she could climb and get it for her self....I kid you not. And she knows how to open doors now, so if you want some privacy while in the potty, better lock that door!
We also got her a big girl bed, it's really cute. I just cannot believe she's getting soo big! Makes me all weepy.

Andrew- doing good, wishing still that we lived closer to his job. He's really hating the drive and hating the amount of $ to fill the tank in our jeep! yikes! Oh yeah and he's growing a mustache too, it's soo weird, it's blond. For those who don't know, he's brunette. But I guess if he wanted to grow a full beard, it would be dark too, but not the mustache, nope that would be lighter, how weird is that?

Monica-me! I guess I really don't need to this part, I already did this, ya know up there ^

Favorite Food Friday:o)

Okay, this recipe is sooo yummy!

Mexican Chicken Casserole

4 or 5 whole chicken breast
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 c. sour cream
8 corn tortillas
1 (4oz.)can of Ortega Chillies
1/3 lb. Monterrey Jack cheese(shredded)
1/3 lb. Cheddar cheese(shredded)

Cut up chicken breast into cubes, and then cook in skillet until juices run clear. Set to the side.
Mix together cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, sour cream and chillies. Set sauce to the side.
Layer in a casserole dish the tortillas, sauce, chicken, cheese, tortillas, sauce....and so on and so on.
Bake at 350 for 45min. to 1 hour.
Let stand for 10min. before serving.
Eat and enjoy!!

So I hope you try it out, it's super yummy as I said before and not terribly spicy either!

I was reading my daily news on the net(because unlike normal people, we do not have cable or get the daily paper) and I came across this.

I have to admit something though, and it kinda gives me the heebie-geebies when I think about it(kinda freaked out right now, and thinking those nasty things are crawling all over me). I used to catch spiders all the time and put them in to jars when I was younger! I would get like twenty in a jar, like it was nothing. And in my grandmas barn, there was this one area that was not used anymore and tons of spiders made their homes there, my brother and I called it "Spider City"(I know sooo original, but come on, we were just kids then)and we would catch them too.

Oh. But now. If I see a spider, I freak out, and I look like I'm having a body spasm. Oh and I freak out when I walk through a spider web......hate, HATE that.

So I either yell for my husband to come and kill it.....all the while he's making fun of me and calling me a wuss. Then he chases me with the squashed spider around the house, laughing and thinking it's just the best amusement ever. Jerk.
Or, I (when he's not home) freak out, and get the kids away from the area if they are around. Then I pace back and forth talking to my self, thinking about calling my little brother to come over and kill it for me.....but that won't do no good, this spider will eat me before he gets here. So I throw a hand towel over it and stomp the heck out of it! Seriously. And I have to have shoes on when I do it, because if it runs out and touches me, Oh. Heck. No.

We have friends that don't kill the spiders that come in to their house, because "it's lost and looking for a place to build it's home" (no, I'm not kidding) so the take it outside in their yard and let it go.

Me. If a spider comes in to my home, it's going to be killed. We don't kill spiders that are outside(would rather have them far, far, far away from my home) but the second they step in our house, it's only a matter of time before it gets squashed. Or sprayed. Or vacuumed up. Or burnt.(my husband likes to do that)

So(in my best pirate voice ever) spider's ye be warned, turn back or it's the plank for you! Arrrrr!

Okay, I lied, no pictures just yet, and I really should not be blogging just yet, my house is in some need of cleaning care......can you tell I'm just soo excited about it?

But can you explain something to me?

Here it is: we moved in to this place ummmm, about a year ago. And in the rental agreement it says garbage is included with the rent....woohoo, one less bill to worry about. So any ways, the landlord guy comes and gets every body's garbage and takes it to the dump in a trailer, no biggy right? But the thing is, he only comes maybe every three weeks!! So we got another can to hold all of our trash. That would make it three total, two was here when we moved in. Landlord guy complained that we are only supposed to have one can! WTF?! How the heck can anyone get by (with kids and all)with one can for more then three weeks?!
I have thought about starting a compose pile, but we have too many stray cats, dogs, children(I kid you not) and raccoons around here that it would just be a mess....and that's another reason why we got ourselves another can!
Sigh.
So maybe we should just pay the city to come and get our garbage, then I could see just using one can, but should we ask for it to be taken out of our rent or just let it slide?

Grrrrr.

I swear that is what Madison was telling me this morning....But first I have to tell you the whole story....ready? OK!:o)
Well yesterday we actually did get to hang out with our friends, just didn't do what was originally planned, but hey it was fun! And it wore out our daughter, she had so much fun playing with our friends daughter(I wish I had my camera) On the way home she fell asleep, no biggy, happens all the time. We get home ummm about 9:30ish? I don't know.
Andrew gets a call from another friend, and wants to go hang out with him, I said sure, both kids were ready for bed. He leaves, Nolan eats and falls asleep for the night, and Madison colors a masterpiece then passes out. Yay, mommy time!!:o)

I got to bed around 1:00am, Andrew comes home about 4ish, and Nolan decides to wake up at 5:30. Fun right? So I feed him, and then get him all settled in and Madison starts to cry.....I swear this mommy stuff never ends! But I make Andrew go get her. Cuz I'm evil like that:o)
Madison comes to bed with us, we all go back to sleep, all nice and cuddly...ok, not really because a foot in the back does not feel so good. Trust me. And even that lasts for oh, only 30 minutes! Miss Madison decides that it's time to play! So we let her crawl all over us while we *try* so very hard to get a few extra minutes of shut eye......then she get's up to my face and jabbers in Ewok and is very excited about it too. Me being all sleepy, just grabs her and hugs her, and then noticed she is stripped down to her bare butt!
That's right, my child took off her clothes and her diaper! And I jumped up not knowing how long she has been in toddler-freedom-bliss(if you had/have a toddler, you know that they love streaki)searched our bed for a wet spot. Luckily there was none. *sigh*
Made Andrew get up and put another diaper on her and I went back to sleep, because you know, I'm evil like that:o)

So I just joined a handful of bloggers(very neat people by the way, love reading your blogs!)in this thing called "Fun Monday". Every Monday some blogger hostess it and asks questions(from what I gather)or such and we (other bloggers and I)write about it. Yay, an instant post for me. Brilliant!

This week our hostess is Lisa. And she asked:
I’d like to know more about you, what makes you tick. I’d like to know how you started blogging. Did you keep a diary under lock and key safely hidden as a child? Do you still? Do you share the same things on your blog that you would have, or do, in your diary? Why did you start blogging and why do you continue? May as well throw in any roadblocks you have run into while blogging. If you still have your old diaries we’d love to see them.

Well, hummm, how do I begin?
I guess I started blogging because everyone else had one and I wanted to give it a try(actually that is why, my very first post said that, I think). I knew that I was not very good at it, but what the heck, if anything I could show off my babies:o) Plus, I have allot of family that is kinda scattered around, and we don't get together often, so I post to update and let them see pictures of us.
I was the diary queen when I was younger. I mean it. I would always ask for a new one every birthday, Christmas, or just when we were going to get a treat. Sadly I really didn't write in them, I mostly drew pictures and such. Oh and I wrote stories in them too. But most got thrown away when I moved out, I think I have like one or two still...I would post a pic of them, but they are hidden in our scary messy place we call a garage.
Okay, back to the question....I still blog, well because it's kind of my down time. Almost like reading before you go to bed, well I blog before I go to bed, or ummmm early in the morning. It helps me vent alittle, keeps my family up to date about what's going on in our lives here and also to read about very interesting people.
And for the roadblocks of having a blog? Well, is really that my family has the url for it....I know I just said it helps me vent alittle, but truth is I have allot of saved drafts that will never get published because of family reading my blog. So in a way I'm kicking myself in the butt for having one, because my phone does not ring as much anymore, they don't have to call when I post, they could just read. And the fact that I cannot always write what is on my mind in fear that I might upset someone.

So I think that about covers it, not very exciting I know. And I think next week is hosted by Nikki , so I will be there, will you?

So I was going to blog last night, and if you have not noticed but I blog at late hours. This is because I have children who think that they need me most when I just sit down at the computer.....so I do it when they are sleeping.
But last night, as we were putting them in their beds, the power went out.......nice. So Madison starts to freak out(she has a night light in her room)because she can't see, and I hear Andrew say "oh, is that tonight?"
Duh, it was a scheduled power outage so that they can work on our sub-station. We got notice in the mail about it, but that was ummm like three weeks ago. And we didn't run home to jot it down on our calender......because that's what normal people do, right?
Grrrr. So we had Madison in our bed with us, and Nolan is still in his bassinet(but not for long). Madison is a very hard person to sleep with, she ends up in the weirdest positions! Upside down, side ways, I think her head was in the back of Andrews knee at one time, and her favorite is taking mommy's pillows and making me sleep on the very edge of the bed......fun.

So know we sit here on a Sunday. We did have plans, but with out an alarm clock we missed it:o( I was looking forward to hanging out with our friends, but maybe another time.

sigh.

That's what sucks about living where we live....it's too far away from everyone. Yes it's great in a way that we live by both sets of grandparents(they love to babysit) but when ever we want to do something it's like an hour away from anything.......so maybe if we just win the lottery(I Hope you all bought your tickets)we could move everyone closer together and into civilisation. Wishful thinking:o)

Mommyca's Favorite Foods Fridays!!

Okay, so I have a major brain fart(and yes it stinks really bad), that's why I have not posted on a while....So I came up with an idea that would keep me blogging, well at least on Fridays:o) So you've guessed, "Favorite Food Friday!" Has anyone done this before, because really I don't want to step on someones toes.....

So first pick of the many fridays to come.....

HONEY-MUSTARD CHICKEN

What you need:
1/3 c. Dijon mustard
1/3 c. honey
2 tbs. chopped fresh dill or 1 tbs. dried dill
1 tsp. freshly grated orange peel
1 (2 and a half pound) chicken-quartered *me, I use four skinless chicken breast*

1. Preheat oven @ 400. Combine mustard and honey in a small bowl. Stir in dill and orange peel.

2. Line a baking sheet with foil. Place chicken on prepared pan. Brush sauce on top; coat well.

3. Turn over chicken, and brush with remaining sauce.

4. Bake chicken until juices runs clear, for about 30min.

Eat And Enjoy!!!!!

Well I hope you try it out and like it. And sorry I don't have all that nutrition stuff because....well, I take out all the calories and such before I post the recipes:o)

Is soo ticklish, it's not even funny! Oh...ok, it is. But when your trying to cut toe nails off of these:it's kinda hard when any time you even touch him he pulls back and giggles. Really it's cute, and you can't help but smile...until you look up at this face:and you know he's making fun of you because you can't even cut a babies toe nails......I finally got them all with out hurting him, but I was hot and sweaty, and it didn't help that Miss Madison wanted to use me as a jungle gym:o)

Oh, Andrew informed me that Nolan had "told" him that he only wanted to be called: Nolan, Mr. N. or Nacho.....yeah, I rolled my eyes too:o)

So it has been a week now that Madison has not had a bottle! She's doing great! She does not even try to take Nolan's bottle either. Oh and we got her a potty, and some big girl panties, here is a pic of her trying it out, LOL:She'll get it someday. We did put the panties on her and she didn't like it when she wet herself, but I think we aren't going to really try it just yet, I mean she did just give up her bottle, so we really don't want to push her.

Is this not the cutest picture you have ever seen? It was hot, so they are just in their diapers(well not Madison, she has a cover on because she likes to take off her diaper)and they are both watching Elmo's World. And Nolan, is soo in love with his sister! He just smiles every time she comes near him, and giggles when she sings and talks to him. It's just to too cute! Madison is really a great big sister, she has even started to kiss him with out us telling her to.:o)

So I didn't get around to putting up my list, maybe tomorrow. Andrew has the day off, so someone will be around to entertain the little one's for a bit. Then maybe I won't be up so late. what do you think?

Oh and I'm thinking about doing a contest for me 1,000Th reader.....don't know yet, and don't know how I would do it, don't know what the prize will be.......so we will see.

As you can see I love blinkies! I mean I LOVE them. I think that was one of me very first posts that I ever posted on this blog, saying how much I liked them....

But anyways, to the right you can see I just added "neat links" and all those blinkies are links to "neat" web sites. Cuz you know I'm blinkie-linky-happy now because my fave girly blogger ~M showed me how to do that thingy....yeah.....I'm kinda slow when it comes to that stuff:o)

You are probably wondering who the heck I am...well, I'm a fellow blogger like you:o)

No really, I've been kinda lacking the thing that a blog needs most to keep going.....that is....more readers! Really it's to keep me writing, because some days I feel like I'm writing to myself and no one really cares what I have to say.....I think really I have two maybe three readers,(my mom and ~M) and only two ever comment.....

So I have decide to start stalking other blogs, so I will officially take the title as "the blogger stalker" for awhile until people start coming over here, just maybe? Please? But really I am jealous of all of you who have a list of readers and get like 5, 10 comments each post......I know, I need help, LOL!

Oh my, I'm soo behind!

I guess I kinda got in to a slump. I really didn't know what to write, but at the same time lots was going on!

First I mentioned in my last post that I had a challenge going on to see who could make me a snazzy header for my blog...it went great and I had some really talented people try it out. But as you can see at the top is the winning one! Made by the ever so talented Liz, and she has a blog that you can go and check out her work: http://sweetdigiscraps.blogspot.com/ . Thank you Liz!! I love it!

Second, Nolan has been rolling over for a week now! Tummy to back, and he's working on back to tummy(he kinda gets stuck half way). And he is now four months old! Had his second round of shots today, and daddy was soo proud of him, he cried for like a second and then was done. I felt really bad for him though. Oh, I should mention that he now weighs 16lbs. 6oz. !!! He's such a cutie:o)

Third, Madison has now been three days without a bottle! She was a little cranky the first day, but now she's doing great! We thought it was time. She was doing the same that she did with her binkie(she would want it if she saw it or it was offered)so we didn't offer the bottle or have it in a spot that she could see it. We always have a sippy cup out for her and she's fine. She's even started to eat more!

Fourth, we went to the coast! It was great! Madison did great. Nolan did great. It was just great,LOL! We had a ton of fun and cannot wait until next year when Nolan will be older and will have fun too. And surprisingly we did not get any crap for having Madison on her "leash" as a matter of fact we saw quite a few of other toddlers on them too! So I have lots of pics to post, and *GASP* even a pic with me in it!! So don't laugh, and I'm sorry if my legs whiteness blinds you!LOL!

Trying to find the thinner me...

I don't know where I seen that saying before, but it's me all over.
You see, I'm.....well, how do I put it....FAT. I know, I know, I shouldn't worry about it too much right now, I mean I just had a baby four months ago. But when is it not okay to use that excuse? When he's almost two? Cuz heck, I could say that with Madison too! (*sniff-sniff* can you believe it? She's almost two!)
My mother in law gave me something that I wanted for a long time...okay, it has not been out for a very long time, but I wanted it sense it came out. "Billy's Boot Camp"! Complete with the "Billy Bands"(for faster results,LOL) and a 7-day success plan! Woohoo baby! Now I just need to get motivated and start it.
But get this, it says your supposed to get at least 8hours of sleep......ummmm, with a infant and a toddler is that even possible?! Oh and I'm supposed to drink half my weight of water(ounces, not gallons!LOL!)I'm not gunna post how much I should drink, cuz you could put two and two together and come out with one very sad number.
I am excited about it though, Tae Bo is how I lost allot of weight when I was in high school.

Now for some pictures!! We went to the park on one of Andrew's days off, and Madison had a blast. I was surprised that there was no one else there, it was not hot at all, it was just right, but it was empty, so Madison had to settle playing with daddy and mommy, not very fun, right? LOL.

the joys of living with a toddler....

It's never a dull moment around here. Even as I type I have to be cleaver to keep the little hands from typing something that I don't want. And every time I even look at the computer, she thinks she needs to be up at it coloring or something. But let me share some pics of Madison, and you can kinda get a idea of what it's like most days.
Now this pic is of her favorite snack, the cheese with little beadsticks, I think Kraft makes them. But she decided it's way better if it's up her nose. And yes being the bad mommy that I am I snaped a picture before I got it away from her. Only to have her do it again with another one, and as I walked toward her saying something along the lines "ewww Madison that is soo gross, what eles does your father teach you while I'm not around?" she took it out of her nose and stuck it in her mouth......saying "mmmmm"........But really she get's that kind of attitude form my side of the family.
And we got Madison a "leash" because girly now throws fits when she is in the stroller for too long and wants to walk but won't hold our hand. We only used it once. But she loves to have it on it the house. And it you don't buckle it, she'll scream at you. Nice huh?

So we are going to the coast next weekend, and I'm sure we'll have to use it, and Oregon people being Oregon people, I'm sure we'll get some rude comments and such.....so I'm in the process of teaching her to bark on command. And sit. And maybe shake. Who knows, but I only have a week to do it:o)

I've changed the name of my blog(but not the address, duh)Because it is my blog after all. Why "Mommyca"? Well, "Mommy" because I am one, and the "ca" is the end of my name, (Monica) so you get"Mommyca" Cleaver huh? Well I didn't think of it, my husband did. (me, I'm not so cleaver)

I was not really going to blog tonight, but right now I am waiting for my carrot-banana bread to finish baking. Yup, I'm making bread at 11:42 at night! How crazy am I? I was going to do it earlier, but time got away from me and I wanted Andrew to have some for lunch. Now this week I have made a total of 8 loafs of this stuff. Oh, timer just went off. So anyways, I cannot get enough of this bread, I love it! I got the recipe from a WIC class, and at first I was kinda scared, because little ol' me has never made bread before, really, I'm telling the truth. But OMG, it is sooo easy and soooo good. Yumm! And some added goodness to it is that Madison loves it too and with the carrots added you get extra vitamins and such. Love it, for breakfast, snack, lunch, dinner or desert. Love it!

Well, my last post I wrote I didn't have any thing to write about.(it's true, I'm pretty boring) But M suggested that I post pics. Great idea! Cuz, I love taking pictures of my kids and well face it, they are sooo darn cute! So on with the pic-chas!

I don't know what's up with me, but I have the blahness:o( I really have nothing to write about, unless you want to hear about the terrible two's, poopy diapers and spit-up perfume. No? Me either. sigh.

I have been really tired too. And really I don't know why. Nolan is now sleeping 9hours a night, and I have been taking my iron supplemnt and vitamins. But still, I just can't get enough of the zzzzz's! I'm sooo happy that Andrew has tomorrow off, maybe I get to sleep longer in the morn. And he's cooking dinner tonight, yay!

So not a whole lot going on today, it was Andrew's day off, and the first one that we did not have to go anywhare. So yeah, we were just being lazy:o)

And everyone is asleep right now, have been to for almost an hour.....it's like the first time ever that everone is down before 10:00pm. And what do I do? Instead of catching up on some ZZZZZ's? Oh yes, I sit here and blog while chatting with my little sister on msn. I have been sending her scary pics on myspace. But not to be mean, her and I like to be scared,(weird, I know) and we love scary movies. Just today i sent her this:
Nice huh? Kind of a Ring/Grudge/Silent Hill thing going on.
Oh and I'm eating a orange cream yogurt. YUMMMMM! I love yogurt, and aparently so does Madison. She ate a whole cup herself, and not much was on her when she was done.
Soo, kinda getting sleepy now, so I guess I'll join the others:o)

And this one is of her and her husband, Brian, and JR:o) Great looking family huh? I can't wait to see them, and can't wait for Madison and Nolan to meet their cousins. Oh and if Sandra is reading this, tell your kids that Tia Monica said to stop growing!!LOL!
